Past Life Analysis

Your past life diagnosis:

I don't know how you feel about it, but you were male in your last earthly incarnation. You were born somewhere in the territory of modern Bulgaria around the year 1075. Your profession was that of a monk (nun), bee-keeper or lone gunman.

Your brief psychological profile in your past life:
Inquisitive, inventive, you liked to get to the very bottom of things and to rummage in books. Talent for drama, natural born actor.

The lesson that your last past life brought to your present incarnation:
Your lesson is to learn discretion and moderation and then to teach others to do the same. Your life will be happier if you help those who lack reasoning.

Do you remember now?

Haha! Funny. Why male? Why Bulgaria? I'm able to accept being a monk in my past life but my past profession and past psychological profile doesn't link! Bee-keeper? Lone gunman? I can accept being a lone swordsman! Haha! Born in the ancient China. However, I can take the advise and continue learning the lesson from "my last past life". =)

Ultraviolet (2006)

Just went to The Cathay Cineplex with Selwyn to watch the Ultraviolet. Yes! The new Cathay Cineplex near Plaza Singapura (PS) and Singapore Management University (SMU) with walking distance from Dhoby Gaut MRT Station. The venue was great but the movie was so not my type. I took a short nap towards the ending part. Basically I can't remember much about the movie now. It didn't leave much impression to me. I can only recall that it's an action movie with lots of fighting scenes and lousy computer generated images. It's boring seriously. 1/5 stars.

Happy / Heartbroken

Friday: We were released early out from camp at around 16:00. Then Chong Boon, Jeremy and I went to KTV at Lot 1 Shopping Mall! It was a not bad session with them. We had joy, fun, jokes, laughter and suaning throughout the session. A nice interaction with them. After that, we went to had our dinner at KFC. My first outing with my camp mates ended heart-warmingly at 22:30.

Saturday: Hmm... Woke up feeling a bit sick due to Friday's KTV, tidbits, fried chicken dinner and lots of talking! I was about to decide not to join another group of my camp mates for hi-tea buffet. But I decided to go. Since the course is coming to an end soon, we are going to part and off to different units all around Singapore. I thought I should interact more with them, especially so that I left the course for some time (physically there but emotionally and mentally invisible). So I went for the buffet. It was fun with Keng Wee always suaning back Jie Ming and making fun of DJ. Hahaha! What a weird group combination! However, the session was fun! Full of jokes, laughter and suaning! Hahaha! Funny, cute Keng Wee a.k.a. Fattoon (an overly, ovally, cholesterol-filled and oily whale-liked dolphin). Hahaha!

Sunday: Managed to get myself up at 09:00. And I straight away carried on with doing my reflection etc. Quite a nice Sunday morning! Soon after, it was 4 division meeting time! I did not attend. I was still busy doing my reflection and partly because I am no longer in the class conducted at my house, rather another one at another place. I must admit that I have slacken in faith too. I have too many doubts and questions to question and answer myself. However, I hope I can get back on track soon. And somehow, maybe my Chapter/Zone leader have the "enlightened wisdom" or six sense that he thought he ought to chat with me for a while. And it lasted for near to an hour. Phew. That made me late for the bon voyage gathering with the MOO Club. Not my problem this time round okay?! Anyway, it was nice meeting them seeing them still doing okay.
Cai Feng is going oversea for a business exchange. Hui Ling found a job, which means she is getting an income, which means she can continue to come out for Gakkai activities. Sharon is having some problem on deciding what to do upon graduate. Not to worry Sharon! Enjoy your Japan trip for now and give a good thought about it later. Maybe after graduating, you don't really know what you want next. I would say that a career is something you would continue working, as an occupation, for life. An interest can be due to the passion you are having now and this passion might last for a long or short time. It depends. However, you would not forget about fulfilling your interest one day but a career, which would be your rice bowl, is much more important and had to continue for your life. It is hard to find a work as a career that is also your interest. Even if you get it, you might just feel bored of it one day. Hmm... Lost of words all of a sudden.
Maybe it is time to sleep! 01:54 now! I gotta wake up at 05:45! Wait. And Wei Lun! I hope he feels better in his work as the time goes by. It is the nature of internship in Polytechnic. You might not totally get to practise what you have learnt in classroom in your attachment and have a well-spent period of stay in the company, as you would not be assigned much responsibilities like the permanent staff. Take it easy man! Oh, off to bed! NitezZ!
I remember something. I spent $102 on these 3 days.
KTV: $15.00
KFC: $5.00
Buffet: $27.00
Haircut: $10.80
Dinner: $13.55
Top-up transport: $10.00
The Body Shop: $20.65
Total: $102
That's not all. I have yet to add something I've bought. Argh! Broke!

2046 (2004)

Details: 129 mins, NC16
Starring: Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Gong Li, Ziyi Zhang, Maggie Cheung Man Yuk, Takuya Kimura, Faye Wong
Directed by: Wong Kar Wai

He was a writer. He thought he wrote about the future but it really was the past. In his novel, a mysterious train left for 2046 every once in a while. Everyone who went there had the same intention… to recapture their lost memories. It was said that in 2046, nothing ever changed. Nobody knew for sure if it was true, because nobody who went there had ever come back – except for one. He was there. He chose to leave. He wanted to change.

Picking up where after In the Mood for Love left off, 2046 is a visually seductive reverie of memory and regret, refracted through a serial womanizer’s experiences with six women.

Chow Mo Wan – played by Tony Leung Chiu-wai with the charm of a young Clark Gable – moves from being a gambler to a pulp fiction writer, and 2046 follows him through various liaisons with several beautiful women, played by Ziyi Zhang, Gong Li, Faye Wong, Carina Lau, Dong Jie and Maggie Cheung.

Playfully merging past, present, and future, 2046 is at once the number of the hotel room in which the couple of after In the Mood for Love conducted their extra marital encounters, and the date of Hong Kong’s final integration into China.

Encouragements

What is important for leading a joyful life? Tolstoy constantly stressed the importance of “correct faith”. He says: “If you want to be quiet and strong, work and improve your faith.” Genuine faith is a sword of belief and conviction that cuts through all suffering; it is a bright light of hope that illuminates darkness and confusion. None lead lives of greater strength and composure than you who base your lives on faith dedicated to truth and justice.

"All right, let's get to work again!"-This is the spirit of people of genuine substance. Those who avoid hard work or neglect the things they have to do, who just while away their time, eating, sleeping, playing, watching television-such individuals will never experience true happiness, satisfaction or joy.

来自她的歌声 你的掌声

She makes Singapore proud by being the most successful music export. Following her came A-Do, Lin Jun Jie and many other up-rising local singers. Without her, I doubt the Mandarin music industry would trust Singaporean singers.

She is the one who makes me dream of standing on stage, realising my dream of becoming a singer. It might be impractical, however, it is only a dream. This feeling comes whenever I watch her perform in her concert.

She makes me wanna take up keyboard and singing lessons to improve my techniques and continue as my hobbies. How I wish I could play the keyboard and sing along myself... All by myself and not from those karaoke music videos.

It's a dream I've yet to fulfil.
It's a dream I've yet start to venture.
It's a dream... It's a dream...
It's a dream that I'd turn into reality one day.
It'd then become reality one day...

mise à jour

The great French philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau (1712- 78) wrote in his work Emile: "There is no happiness without courage nor virtue without struggle." Without courage there is no happiness and it is impossible to create a life of value. This is an unchanging rule of human existence.

Encouragement

There is no need for you to be impatient. If you can achieve something very easily right from the start, you will find no sense of fulfilment or joy. It is in making tenacious, all-out efforts for construction that profound happiness lies.

Nanny Mcphee (2006)

Went to watch it with Selwyn at Shaw Tower yesterday. Quite nice!

Details: 97 mins, PG, Comedy/Family/Fantasy
Starring:
Angela Lansbury, Thomas Sangster, Emma Thompson, Kelly MacDonald, Colin Firth[full cast]
Directed by: Kirk Jones
Local Distributor: United International Pictures

In this dark and witty fable, Thompson portrays a person of unsettling appearance and magical powers who enters the household of the recently widowed Mr. Brown (Firth) and attempts to tame his seven exceedingly ill-behaved children. The children, led by the oldest boy Simon (Love Actually's Thomas Sangster), have managed to drive away 17 previous nannies and are certain that they will have no trouble with this one. But as Nanny McPhee takes control, they begin to notice that their vile behavior now leads swiftly and magically to rather startling consequences.

Her influence also extends to the family’s deeper problems, including Mr. Brown’s sudden and seemingly inexplicable attempts to find a new wife; an announcement by the domineering Aunt Adelaide (Angela Lansbury) that she intends to take one of the children away; and the sad and secret longings of their scullery maid, Evangeline (Kelly Macdonald). As the children’s behaviour begins to change, Nanny McPhee’s arresting face and frame appear to change as well, creating even more questions about this mysterious stranger whom the children and their father have come to love.

Encouragement

In any realm of activity, one cannot become a person of the highest calibre without overcoming some kind of life-or-death struggle. And this is all the more true when it comes to the strict path of mentor and disciple in Buddhism.

inconnu

I'd like to know, if we were together how would our story be.
Would we be happy?
Would we be sad?

I'd never know, 'cos we didn't seize the chance given.
Is this what we want?
Feeling ambiguous - an awkward in-between relationship, neither here nor there.

You asked me "is it good to remain this way?".
"Maybe?" I replied.
However to me, it is either a relationship or being strangers.

You'd be the first I go against my rule.
Perhaps I'd feel too much for you.
Thus I'm unable to withdraw.
Inconnu?

stagnant mind...

I wanted to write something about the six senses - see, smell, hear, taste, touch and feel. But my mind kinda stop me from doing so. Can't think well right now. Haha! Hmm... And I've the urge of buying one thing - A Tamagotchi! I don't know why. Maybe I feel bored and need a toy to keep me accompanied. Tamagotchi! If I really wanna buy one, then I gotta import it.

Encouragements

The teachings of Buddhism enable us to view things based on the three existences of life — past, present and future — and to advance cheerfully along the valuable and noble path of peace, happiness and triumph. Let us not complain about petty things. We cannot let ourselves be discouraged by a little hardship. And we must never abandon our faith. To do so would be an act of cowardice and betrayal.

What is youth? The French philosopher Roger Garaudy suggests that while most people believe a person is born young and then ages and dies in reality, acquiring youth in the deepest sense is a very long and challenging process. The youth of which he speaks is the spiritual strength not to stagnate or grow resistant to change but to stay ever open to new possibilities. It is the power of the spirit that refuses to succumb to complacency and strives forward.

Handwriting Analysis Self-Test

He is very self-sufficient. He is trying not to need anyone. He is capable of making it on his own. He probably wants and enjoys people, but he doesn't "need" them. He can be a loner.

He is sarcastic. This is a defense mechanism designed to protect his ego when he feels hurt. He pokes people harder than he gets poked. These sarcastic remarks can be very funny. They can also be harsh, bitter, and caustic at the same time.

He is a practical person whose goals are planned, practical, and down to earth. This is typical of people with normal healthy self-esteem. He needs to visualize the end of a project before he starts. He finds joy in anticipation and planning. Notice that I said he plans everything he is going to do, that doesn't necessarily mean things go as planned. He basically feels good about himself. He has a positive self-esteem which contributes to his success. He feels he has the ability to achieve anything he sets his mind to. However, he sets his goals using practicality-- not too "out of reach". He has enough self-confidence to leave a bad situation, yet, he will not take great risks, as they relate to his goals. A good esteem is one key to a happy life. Although there is room for improvement in the confidence catagery, his self-perception is better than average.

In reference to his mental abilities, he has a very investigating and creating mind. He investigates projects rapidly because he is curious about many things. He gets involved in many projects that seem good at the beginning, but he soon must slow down and look at all the angles. He probably gets too many things going at once. When he slows down, then he becomes more creative than before. Since it takes time to be creative, he must slow down to do it. He then decides what projects he has time to finish. Thus he finishes at a slower pace than when he started the project. He has the best of two kinds of minds. One is the quick investigating mind. The other is the creative mind. His mind thinks quick and rapidly in the investigative mode. He can learn quicker, investigate more, and think faster. He can then switch into his low gear. When he is in the slower mode, he can be creative, remember longer and stack facts in a logical manner. He is more logical this way and can climb mental mountains with a much better grip.

He will be candid and direct when expressing his opinion. He will tell them what he thinks if they ask for it, whether they like it or not. So, if they don't really want his opinion, don't ask for it!

He uses judgment to make decisions. He is ruled by his head, not his heart. He is a cool, collected person who is usually unexpressive emotionally. Some may see him as unemotional. He does have emotions but has no need to express them. He is withdrawn into himself and enjoys being alone. The circumstances when he does express emotions include: extreme anger, extreme passion, and tremendous stress. If someone gets him mad enough to tell him off, he will not be sorry about it later. He puts a mark in his mind when someone angers him. He keeps track of these marks and when he hits that last mark he will let them know they have gone too far. He is ruled somewhat by self-interest. All his conclusions are made without outside emotional influence. He is very level-headed and will remain calm in an emergency situation. In a situation where other people might get hysterical, he has poise. He will work more efficiently if given space and time to be alone. He would rather not be surrounded by people constantly. In a relationship, he will show his love by the things he does rather than by the things he says. Saying "I love you" is not a needed routine because he feels his mate should already know. The only exception to this is if he has logically concluded that it is best for his mate to hear him express his love verbally. He is not subject to emotional appeals. If someone is selling a product to him, they will need to present only the facts. They should present them from a standpoint of his sound judgment. He will not be taken in by an emotional story about someone else. He will meet emergencies without getting hysterical and he will always ask "Is this best for me?"

People that write their letters in an average height and average size are moderate in their ability to interact socially. According to the data input, he doesn't write too large or too small, indicating a balanced ability to be social and interact with others.
